How long will the family story time usually last?

    • librarianra Says:

The family storytime is approximately 30 minutes in length and will continue for the spring session through April 28.

  2. Elizabeth Says:

    Hi!

I am studying elementary education at North Texas right now and was wanting to observe some library/literacy circle times in Plano since that is where I’m from. Do you think that will be fine if I came by to just sit in the back and take notes?

  3. Emily Says:

My daughter turns 3 in September, is it ok if she goes to the 3-5 year olds storytime with her 4 year old brother? Also, do parents attend this or do the children go by themselves? Thanks.

    • lmaxon87 Says:

Yes, it is okay to bring younger siblings to storytimes with their older siblings. Also, parents do need to stay with their children throughout storytime and parents are encouraged to participate in storytime activities. We hope to see you and your family during our summer storytime session!

  4. Dianne Kerr Says:

Wanting to sign up for the reading time for 0-9 months at Harrington. Can’t find the link on-line to do so. Please let me know how.

    • lmaxon87 Says:

There is no sign-up for storytime. Just pick your time and location and show up with your little one. I hope this helps and enjoy storytime!

  5. Jessica Says:

I see Fall storytime session starts Aug. 27th but what date does it end?

  6. Jennifer Price Says:

How long do the Babes in Arms and Rhyme Time story times last?

  7. Amie Says:

Yes, a 9am Rhyme Time would be excellent! We can’t make the 10:30 time as it falls right during nap time. Thanks so much for considering a move in time!

  8. Kathy Says:

Though still a school kid, my son still likes the storytime so much(He really learned a lot from it). I wonder whether it is possible to hold preschool storytime after school in the afternoon such as 3:30 or 4PM. (I know there is family storytime at 7PM but it was kind of late and was dinner time for most families). Thanks!

    • lmaxon87 Says:

I don’t know the exact age of your son, but Parr Library is now offering a storytime for 5 and 6 year olds. The storytime is called Kindergarten Caravan and it is once a month at 3:30pm. The dates of Kindergarten Caravan for the fall are September 26, October 24, and November 28. Also, Davis Library does offer a family storytime on Saturdays at 11am and this program is for all ages.
