Someone once said, “A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.” No matter how you look at it, having a baby changes everything! Join us for Read to the Bump on Saturday, February 23 at 11 AM at Schimelpfenig Library. The SMU Center for Family Counseling will share tips for staying connected, maintaining boundaries, balancing new responsibilities, and managing the “4th trimester.” You can also participate in a read-aloud to your baby bump, learn and sing favorite rhymes, and talk with new friends about your experiences. We’re here to share great tips on how to read, write, sing, talk, and play with your newest family member.
